Washed Yirgacheffe Gr.1 – Aramo

Location: Yirgacheffe, Aramo

Cultivation: 650 smallscale farming families, in an area at 2000 m. altitude

Varietals: heirloom ethiopian

Process: Washed with 40 hour fermentation

The coffee is harvested by hand between the end of October and mid January. It is selected and brought by each family to the neighbouring mill, for proper processing. The cherries are washed and left to ferment for 40 hours before being placed on raised african beds for homogeneous drying.
