WE NEVER PURCHASE OUR LOTS “BY DESCRIPTION”

We cup every lot we import, not only our gourmet Arabicas, but also Robustas and lots from well-established origins.

A THOROUGH EVALUATION PROCESS OF THE OFFER SAMPLE DETERMINES OUR CHOICE

After purchasing we request an abundant pre-shipment sample to cup and evaluate. Only if it conforms to our expectations we authorize release of the sipment. When the coffee has arrived in Trieste we demand turn-out samples of about 3 kilos, which are then re-evaluated.
If we find that the selection process had not been rigorous enough at origin, the lots are re-sent through defect-selecting machines.

OUR WAREHOUSES HAVE IDEAL STORAGE CONDITIONS COMPARED TO THOSE IN MOST EXPORTING COUNTRIES

During the storage period we draw new samples on a regular basis to verify the coffee’s homogeneity through time.
This insures that the product we deliver to roasters is essentially perfect.
